About ALT Invest

Why we exist

Most people don’t need a hundred products, they need three or four chosen well and reviewed properly. We built ALT Invest around that idea — a place where the recommendation is shaped by your goal, timeline and risk appetite first, and the product comes second.

What we do

• Distribute regular and direct plan mutual funds across AMCs, and Specialized Investment Funds (SIF) for eligible investors.
• Distribute term and health insurance, comparing insurers on price and claim experience.
• Build Shariah-compliant / ethical portfolios for investors who want them.
• Handle KYC, execution and ongoing review — not a one-time sale.

What we do not do

We are a distributor, not a registered investment adviser. We do not charge a standalone advisory fee for product selection — our income is the commission AMCs and insurers pay on the products you hold through us, disclosed openly. If we ever take on a paid research or planning engagement separate from distribution, we will say so in writing before it begins. See our disclaimer for the full position.

Who is behind it

ALT Invest is a proprietorship run by Latish, registered with AMFI as a mutual fund distributor under ARN-278288. It is not a research analyst or a SEBI-registered investment adviser, and nothing on this site or in our conversations should be read as personalised investment advice in that regulated sense.

Our two sites

This site, altinvest.in, is where we describe our distribution services and how to reach us. Our free calculators, retirement guides and educational content live at PlanRetirement.in, a separate, independent, ad-supported publication we also run. It carries no product recommendations and is not gated behind talking to us — use it whether or not you ever become a client here.
